Recruitment Assistant, Skills and Work Team
Viran joined Gecko in 2010 and is currently responsible for co-ordination of the Future Jobs Fund: overseeing the recruitment process and ensuring strong project co-ordination and compliance. Additionally Viran provides a number of important office and administration functions across our teams.
Viran holds a 2.1. BA. (Hons) in English and Creative and Professional Writing from the University of Wolverhampton. Prior to her current role, Viran worked with our sister company, Gecko Arts and Media, responsible for the marketing and PR of Gecko Arts and Media’s former Latin American art gallery in Wolverhammpton.
Other recent work for Gecko Programmes includes working for Duende Sico in La Coruña as part Vocational Training for the European Creatives project funded through the EU Leonardo da Vinci programme.
In her free time, Viran is busy working for a music magazine, performing vocals in two rock bands and writing fiction from psychological thrillers to comedies.
