Managing Consultant, Skills and Work Team
Mike joined Gecko as an Associate in 2010 as our Skills and Business Improvement specialist.
Mike spent the first ten years of his career in the private sector, mainly in operations and finance management, then in IT and Human Resources systems management. During the last ten years, Mike has been working in the public sector, developing the skills strategy for the West Midlands for employers and providers in the knowledge intensive sectors.
Michael has a BA Degree in Management and a BSc in Information Systems. He recently completed a MSc in Management Psychology and is currently studying for a PG Cert in Lean Techniques and Systems Thinking.
As an experienced project manager , Mike is a developer with Prince 2 accreditation, has used a wide variety of public funding, and has practical experience and academic qualifications in IT, lean methodologies, systems thinking and management psychology.
Mike is also an experienced and enthusiastic trainer with a keen interest in new technologies.
